Big Mack Attack: Interhouse Field Hockey

This past Tuesday and Thursday the girls of Mackenzie, Alex, Allard, and Hope duked it out on the field hockey pitch for interhouse supremacy. The games were structured as a round robin tournament with finals at the end. Hope House, with only a handful of field hockey players, played strongly and won one of their three games. Allard, also a strong competitor, placed third. The Gold medal game came down to Mackenzie and Alex. Both teams played valiantly and when the match was tied in at the end of regulation time, it came down to strokes. In the end, Mackenzie house prevailed. Mrs. Flynn, ecstatic at the result, was reported to have said under her breath, “If only the Habs could play with that kind of intensity”.
