Best in Boathouse

As the sun set on Mill Bay, the Brentwood College Rowing Club held its final 'Best in Boathouse' race before the midterm break. Every two weeks, the BCRC holds this in-house competition where each crew strives to achieve a Gold Standard (based on the average times over the last 10 years at the Canadian National Championships).  Brentwood crews have their speeds compared to this Gold Standard and a winner of the ‘Best in Boathouse’ is announced each fortnight. The event is highly competitive and, for the observer, very entertaining. The winners were Claire V and Deidre H in the Senior Girls 2X, Brett L, Andrew C, Cam Y, Martin B, Ruben S, Ryan C, Tristan K, Lance B and Sean H in the Senior Boys 8+ and Harrison B in the Junior Boys 1X.
