Basketball Update for Sr and Jr Boys

The Senior Boys basketball team maintained their first place standing in league play on Tuesday with a 79-53 victory over Gulf Island SS. The boys jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Your next opportunity to see the Senior Boys play is January 28th when a very good Shawnigan team will be visiting Brentwood. The Junior Boys basketball team began 2010 with an impressive 67-32 victory against Chemainus Secondary. Although very rusty from the long Christmas break and still missing an important member of the starting five, the team was able to rally behind the strong play of Alex P, David L and a season high 19 points from Jordan C. The next action for the Junior Boys will be Tuesday January 12th against Francis Kelsey Secondary School.
