Basketball: Junior Boys start the season 1-2 at Dover Bay tournament

The Junior Boys basketball team started their season this weekend at a twelve-team tournament at Dover Bay secondary school. For many of the boys, it was their introduction to high school basketball. Although the team suffered two losses along with a win against Mark Isfeld from Courtenay, it is still early in the year and there will be plenty of time for improvement. Special thanks to Mr. Clayton Johnston who dragged himself out of retirement to lead the troops to victory!
