Barbara Stone: Solid as a Rock

Long time Board member and Friend of the School, Barbara Stone, has decided to resign from the Brentwood Board of Governors after 18 years of service. Since joining the Board in 1998, Barb has been a regular and steady participant at all meetings and has undertaken many projects for the School. Barb and Michelle MacLaren organized and ran the 25 year recognition celebrations for our "Silver Seven".  She also headed up the retirement gifts and ceremonies for Andrea and Gerry Pennell's retirements. She has always maintained a strong commitment to youth and arts in the Cowichan community and represented our School at local events when asked. Barb asks good questions and her humour and kind manner will be missed by all.
