Allard Swims to Field Hockey Dominance

19 November 2012
We all know interhouse is a time where students have their chance to shine in a particular event whether it be cake baking or sorting your recyclables in the correct bins, or, this past Tuesday, interhouse field hockey.

Girls who play field hockey had an opportunity to bring pride (or shame) to their house this week. Everyone was very competitive and eager to claim the top prize. With each game only 15 minutes long, there was little room for error and everyone had to play hard the whole time they were on the field. This definitely brought out the competitive side of some people, but the purpose of interhouse is to have some friendly competition to end the field hockey season.

All four teams battled hard until the very end; however some teams had a bit more luck than the others. Allard’s mermaids swam to top spot followed by Mackenzie, Alex and Hope.
