A Season of Squash

12 July 2021

Squash faced several Covid changes which prevented the team from playing against other schools, but we were able to organize some internal matches and  tournaments to allow for some competition. There were some fantastic senior players who spent countless hours working on their game and fitness. Many of them were Grade 12s who had been in the program for four years. Though we all enjoyed this season, we will try to forget the practices and running drills held outside due to Camp Brentwoods I-VII. ;-)

Towards the end of the season, we played a league round-robin-style tournament where there were teams filled with players of different skill levels. These teams would then compete every Thursday which allowed for the players to experience squash at a competitive level while playing solely in the school.

We would like to thank Mr Gustavo Verna for all of his hard work and the fun season we had.
