A Premier Festival For Premier Talent!

The Music Department is very excited to be representing Brentwood again this year at the Canadian MusicFest Nationals. MusicFest Canada is an annual national event that brings together more than 10,000 of Canada’s finest young musicians. Participants range in age from 12-25 years and are drawn from the elementary, high school, college and university levels. The festival is held each year in May, this year in Richmond, B.C. from May 13th to 16th. Info at http://www.musicfest.ca Last year our Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz Show Choir brought home silver from this premier music competition. This year we are going for gold with the Jazz Band and the Vocal Jazz Show Choir. These two ensembles have already received high accolades in our local festival qualifiers.
