A Hill of Motivation

Last Saturday the Cross Country and Cross Training groups had the pleasure of a visit from Brentwood TEDx speaker Matt Hill. Matt is a voice actor most famous for his work as Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Passionate about running and the planet, he came to us to spread his inspirational message. Matt ran a marathon a day for 369 days to promote Earth awareness and prove that "small steps add up.” Matt inspired us all to "take our gratitude and spread it into living great lives,” and taking our own small steps towards a better future.  We would like to thank Matt for running with us, as well as empowering us, and we encourage everyone to sign up to take an environmental challenge at Matt's website, runforoneplanet.org.  On behalf of the Cross Country and Cross Training teams, thank you for the impact you had on all of us here at Brentwood, Matt.
