A Fight to the Finish

The weekend before midterm the First XI Field Hockey team travelled to the University of Victoria for the Island Championships. The first day of the tournament we had two games scheduled. We had to win one game on the Friday to advance to the semi-finals and then playing for either 1st and 2nd or 3rd and 4th, with the top two teams advancing to the Provincial Championships and the third team playing in a wild card tournament. We ended up placing fourth out of six in the tournament, which is our best ranking in a few years. I am incredibly proud of what our team accomplished this season. We fought from start to finish and proved ourselves as worthy competitors. Sarah H, Alexandra ’14, Captain
