A Celebration of Thanksgiving

8 October 2010
For the first time in more than 3 decades our Brentwood family was able to sit down together and share a Thanksgiving meal. Crooks Hall, our new dining facility which can seat over 500, was alive with the scents, sights and sounds of delicious food, smiling faces and cheerful laughter. A gourmet meal of turkey, stuffing and all the fixings was prepared by our own kitchen staff and served by the SEC (Student Executive Council). Following the meal, the action moved to the Killy Theatre where, after only a few shorts weeks of rehearsal, our singers and musicians showcased a variety of performances. Two of our Grade 12 students also spoke to the school about their experiences volunteering overseas this past summer (Jasper F. in India and Megan R. in the Dominican Republic).  It was a moving service from start until finish and a fitting way to celebrate Thanksgiving. We look forward to many more evenings of celebration together in these magnificent facilities.
