1st XI vs. York House
On Friday our 1st XI Field Hockey team traveled to Shawnigan Lake School to play York House. We knew that they would be a challenge, but the girls didn’t let that scare them.
The game started with York House playing the ball. It was intense, playing the ball on both ends making it very close.
The 1st XI played a really tough game with the blazing sun hitting our faces. With our hard work and determination, we nearly had four goals but, unfortunately, lost a 3-0 game. This loss didn’t stop us from playing hard, though. We kept our focus and continued.
The 1st XI team finished a good game, and even if we didn’t win, we know that we worked as hard as we could. I can proudly say that this is going to be a great season for our girls!
