Quinn Erickson (Grade 11) raced today in the finals of the Canadian Rowing Championships. Racing against athletes two years older, Quinn finished fourth in the Junior Women's pair. Twelve Old Brentonians and one current student are taking part in this weekend's Canadian National Championships in Welland, Ontario. Quinn Erickson's mom, Carol, also a Brentwood grad (Class of 1998) is in Welland cheering on her daughter. Carol and her husband Murray rounded up all the Brentwood grads for the photo.

Earlier today in Ontario, Quinn Erickson qualified for Sunday's final in the Junior Women's Single at the National Rowing Championships. She will be busy tomorrow, as she has also qualified in the Junior Women's Pair, which will also be raced on Sunday.

The Senior Girls field hockey team will be participating in the Provincial Championships to be held 7th - 9th November at the Burnaby Sports Complex. At the end of league play, Brentwood were the North Island Champions.  They were undefeated during the season, scoring 16 unanswered goals with Renata Morris earning the shutouts. In the Island...

Last Tuesday, the Junior 'B' girls volleyball team played the Shawnigan Junior 'B' team and beat them handily in two games.  Two days later, they hosted the Shawnigan Junior 'A' team (who placed 7th at the ISA tournament) and beat them in three games! It was unfortunate that the girls did not get a chance to prove themselves against this team...
