Student Impact Fund Initiatives

There are many funds that donors can direct their gifts to — two initiatives that we continue to focus on are Open the Door and the Grad Class Endowment Funds. For more information on these initiatives, please read on.

Open the Door Initiative

In support of the De Manu In Manum Bursary Fund

We are very proud that 20-25 percent of our students receive bursaries of varying sizes making it possible for them to attend the School. However, as the world changes rapidly and economic disparities continue to grow, we know that we can’t stop here. We must continue to fundraise for bursary support so that more than ever, bright and deserving kids can benefit from a Brentwood education, regardless of their family’s ability to pay school fees. We know that after leaving Brentwood these graduates go on to change the world for the better.

We hope to grow support for our bursary funding by finding 25 new donors to commit to a monthly gift of $10, $25 or $50 to the De Manu in Manum Fund; an open fund which generates major bursary support for deserving students who would otherwise be unable to attend Brentwood. What’s more, your monthly gifts will be matched by our lead donors, once a full year of your giving has taken place. This donation matching will continue for the first three years of your giving, essentially doubling the impact of your gifts during those years! Anyone can participate as this initiative is open to all members of the Brentwood family (alumni, parents, staff, and friends).
