At Brentwood we seek the right fit for both the student and our school. We only accept students who choose to be here; no one is sent to our school. We seek students who value opportunity, embrace challenge, and are prepared to enrich our vibrant, friendly boarding school community.
We find the students best suited to Brentwood's course of studies are those capable of succeeding in a tripartite university-preparatory program. This means that admission is not solely based on an applicant's academic potential, but also on character and eagerness to participate actively in our arts and athletic programs. We care about what students accomplish in and out of the classroom. Application to Brentwood is always competitive and we encourage families to start the application process as early as possible.

Q: Do you still have room for my daughter/son for this coming September entry? When is your deadline to submit an online application?
A: Brentwood has a rolling admission policy. We accept applications until all the available places are filled per year. We recommend starting the application process early in the year. *Note: If you are applying for our Grade 8 program, please contact the school before submitting an application.
Q: How much does tuition cost?
A: Tuition differs for day, Canadian, American, and International students. Please visit our fees page for more details.
Q: What does tuition include?
A: All meals, room and board, science laboratory fees, most art and sport programs, most textbooks, laundry (for boarding students), and many other student activities.
Q: Is the assessment mandatory?
A: Yes, we do require an assessment.
Q: Do you require a TOEFL test?
A: No, our admissions process will help us assess language skills.
Q: Do you have an ESL program?
A: No, at this time we do not have an ESL program.
Q: I would like to enroll my child as a day student at Brentwood. Is this a possibility?
A: Brentwood has limited day places and we make every attempt to reserve these places for local families.
Q: How do I begin the admissions process?

Q: I would like to visit the School to take a tour. When are you available?
A: Tours can be facilitated Monday through Saturday at 10:00am preferably. To book a tour, please call our admissions line at 250-743-5521 or email admissions@brentwood.bc.ca.
Q: What languages do you offer?

Q: Do you have tutoring available?
A: Yes, Brentwood offers tutoring and support for learning differences on campus. This level of support will be assessed once the child has been accepted.
