University Acceptances 2021
The members of Graduating Class of 2021 weathered the global pandemic storm to add to the tradition of recording impressive and varied admissions results for Brentwood applicants. Members of the Graduating Class will be attending 63 different institutions in seven different countries, including six Canadian provinces, and 13 US states.
- Just over two-thirds of them will remain in Canada to pursue their studies, 17% of them will head to the United States, and 14% of them will venture to distant shores around the globe.
- Nearly 40% of them will pursue studies in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; a quarter of them will study in the STEM fields; and around 10% of them are entering each of business, the fine and performing arts, and fields in the medical and health professions.
- 67% of the graduating class received an offer of admission from their first-choice university, reflecting how competition for admission during the pandemic increased substantially.
- 670 offers of admission were received from 166 institutions in 9 different countries around the world.
- 61% of the graduating class received a scholarship offer from at least one of the universities to which they applied. They accumulated scholarship award offers, both merit-based and athletic, in excess of $3.9 million.
