Tony Crossley, B.Ed. (University of Alberta)

Born in Scotland, raised in Manchester, England, and relocated to Alberta, Tony Crossley completed the poor man's version of an odyssey in a final move to British Columbia. Mr. Crossley earned his teaching qualifications in Liverpool and his Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta. He arrived at Brentwood to teach mathematics and physics and served as Head of the Computer Department in its inaugural years. In 1996, he returned to Mathematics, full-time, as teacher and department head; the latter role was relinquished in 2004 as a concession to advancing years. Mr. Crossley created the first Brentwood website in 1996 and wore the grandiose title of "Webmaster" for many years. He is now happily focused upon editing and producing the "Brentwood Blog" section of the site. An enthusiast of racquet and non-contact sports (due to his less-than-substantial physique), Mr. Crossley has coached several teams. When he escapes the Brentwood treadmill, he enjoys tennis and golf, building things, and playing with toy trains. He married both Val and Brentwood College School in 1981.
