Ron Neufeld, B.Sc. (University of Victoria)

The eldest of four brothers, Ron Neufeld developed the current model for all learning paradigms: children will believe anything you tell them, and this can be amusing. Realizing that tall tales would fare much better with the authority of science, Mr. Neufeld studied biochemistry at the University of Victoria where he also completed his professional teaching year. He joined the Brentwood faculty in 1999 as a science teacher. Since 2003, Mr. Neufeld - also known as Starship Commander - has been the Houseparent of Privett House. He is currently owned by two cats, 50 Privett boys, 80 science students, a Smart Board, and two computers. He is happily married to Lisa, a computer specialist, and they have one daughter.
