Liam Sullivan, B.A. (Malaspina University-College), B.Ed. (UBC)

Born in Vancouver, Liam Sullivan moved to Courtenay, British Columbia, at the age of two. In this athletes’ paradise, he devoted himself to three sports, but by high school, was pressed to specialize: basketball won out over football and soccer. At Malaspina University College, Mr. Sullivan captained the varsity team to a national championship. He subsequently coached the men’s team until Collingwood School lured him to West Vancouver with an irresistible offer: Head of Basketball. After the birth of their second child, Mr. Sullivan and his wife, Marilou, re-located their family to Prince Rupert, British Columbia, where a six month visit stretched into a four year stay. They were drawn back to Vancouver Island by Brentwood, and it is here that Mr. Sullivan now teaches social studies, coaches boys’ basketball, and is the Assistant Houseparent of Whittall House. The Sullivans have two children.
