Elizabeth MacIsaac, B.Mus. (University of Victoria)

Elizabeth MacIsaac has taught piano, voice, and choir at Brentwood College School since 2002. She is also a member of the voice and piano faculty of the Victoria Conservatory, where she directs the women's medieval vocal group, "Ensemble Laude". Ms. MacIsaac lived for several years in Paris, where she taught at numerous international schools and directed many choral groups. In addition to teaching, she also sustains an active schedule as a touring artist, giving vocal recitals, and appearing with various ensembles throughout Europe. In Canada, Ms. MacIsaac has appeared with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, the Portland Baroque Orchestra, the Palm Court Orchestra, and many chamber groups. She has studied voice and coached under such luminaries as Julianne Baird, Laurie Monahan, Sequentia (Barbara Thornton and Ben Bagby), Emma Kirkby, and Suzie LeBlanc. She frequently is heard on CBC radio and has recorded with Capriccio Vocal Ensemble and the medieval group, Tonus Peregrinus. Ms. MacIsaac has one daughter.
