Sterling Captains – The Proof is in the Pudding

Second term sports Captains were recently announced and if our results are any indication, these athletics leaders have been more than up to the task.
On Saturday night Captain Michael M and his assistants, Tristan K and Jake B, secured a 4-3 win over valley rival Shawnigan in the annual Showcase hockey game.

On the hardcourt, Madlen A and her assistant, Emily H, have been pacing the Senior Girls Basketball team to a 8-0 record and back-to-back tournament wins.

The Senior Boys Basketball team, led by Captain Chris W, were not to be left out, forging a Bronze medal finish at Victoria’s Police Tournament last weekend. The team hosts its annual Countdown to Playoffs Tournament starting with a home game Friday against Gulf Islands at 10:30.
