Many of the Senior Tennis players started training for the spring season at the indoor courts during the second term. They put in many hours in the bubble while the rain pounded down outside. When it was time to move outdoors, the rain significantly hampered training: the courts were unplayable on many days. Despite the lack of sun, however, the players managed to get some quality training time on the court with coach Nick McLean & alumni Christopher Chan.   The team played league games against Shawnigan and St. Michaels, showing good improvement with every match as partners became more familiar with each other.  At the Vancouver Island ISA tournament the boys placed 3rd and the girls placed 2nd.  This was a good result for the team against a number of quality teams on the Island this year. The team played their best tennis of the year at the Vancouver Island Tournament, securing a berth to the 2017 High School Provincial Tournament held in Vancouver on May 25-27.   Mrs Marci McLean, Coach
