Rugby Girls have Fun in Vancouver!

Last weekend the girls' rugby team played two games in the Lower Mainland gaining valuable experience and confidence in each other. On Friday they narrowly lost to a composite Semiahmoo/Marriot side 22-24, playing some attractive open rugby but coming up short in kicking converts.

On Saturday the girls beat a young but spirited Tweedsmuir team. We moved the ball very well and supported one another all over the field. Every player took part in each game and made considerable progress in helping the team function. The top try scorers were Dani R and Jenn L with 3 each. Our next game is at home against Reynolds, Tuesday, April 19th at 3.45pm. See you there!
