Junior Boys Trump Saints

During the last week of school before heading away on Spring Break, the Brentwood Junior and Senior Boys Rugby teams played XVs matches against the St. George’s Saints. While the Seniors’ efforts ultimately fell short of victory, the Juniors forged a different fate. On a team of players with varied skill levels and experience, the coaches emphasized that the boys play hard as a unit and look to attack early and often throughout the game. We took these words to heart and came out swinging, moving and running the ball well in addition to playing stellar defense. The final score was 56-12 with tries scored by Sion G, Treasure A, Jose G, Olamide O, Mason S, Ciaran B, & Matthew M. This was a very strong showing for the team in what was their first game together. The squad looks to build on this victory to experience similar success throughout the spring term.
