How Does It Feel?

On Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Collis’ Grade 10 elective class -- the poetry of Bob Dylan -- enjoyed the sweet tunes of Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues,” “Knockin' On Heaven's Door,” and “Rock Me Baby,” performed by Mr. Scott McGill, Brentwood’s Rock Band instructor. Joined by Mr. Ganley’s groupies, we basked on the sunbathed grass on a wacky, Woodstockian array of blankets. We sat under blue skies, listened, and sang along. Dylan may observe that, “It’s not dark yet, but it’s getting there”; however, for the present, we beam with a wide smile on our faces and some Dylan tunes in our hearts.
