Brentwood in the News this Week

Brentwood has been in the local news an awful lot this past week. First, we received a rave review for the opening of our spring musical, “The Phantom of the Opera” bit.ly/dEG01Z Then, Canada's most popular comedian, Rick Mercer, bit.ly/gQD7FY visited our campus to film a piece for CBC’s “The Mercer Report”.

On top of those special events, the Cowichan News Leader Pictorial has run a spotlight feature on David Lawrence, a member of the senior boys’ basketball team, currently at the provincial championships bit.ly/fUbtVF Similarly, there was a feature on our annual Ross Cup ice hockey tournament in which we made the finals of both the junior and senior divisions bit.ly/eIanKZ Not to be outshone by the boys, our senior girls’ rugby team laced up their cleats and placed 3rd at the McGeachy tournament. bit.ly/gnS09R
