As the Brentwood community includes about 40 American students, the school celebrates American Thanksgiving at the end of each November. With American and Canadian Thanksgiving being just over a month apart, Brentwood students and faculty are lucky enough to indulge in two fantastic meals.  There are three sets of Parent-Teacher-Student interviews each year and the last set was held on Friday. This gave the American parents an opportunity to come up during the holiday to meet with their child’s teachers as well as enjoy the holiday with their children during the Red Saturday weekend.  After a fantastic Canadian Thanksgiving dinner in October it was going to be hard to beat such a great night, but it was surely done by our amazing food services staff. With scrumptious food and the students all dressed up, the night was a true success.  After the meal each house and its brother/sister house attended the Fusion art show put on by the visual art students. With new works on display throughout the Centre for Art and Humanities and sparkling apple juice to quench our post-turkey thirsts, it was a festive night on campus.  Emma H, Allard ‘17
