Capital Giving

Donations to capital improvements are used by the school to build new campus facilities. Over the past ten years, $30 million has been invested in campus facilities and land acquisition. Rogers House (1999), Maeda Health Centre (2002), T. Gil Bunch Centre for Performing Arts (2003), Allard House (2006), and Crooks Hall (2010) have been added to campus facilities.  During the same period there have been numerous improvements to the school grounds, including the landscaping of our front entrance and Gillespie Field, additions to the Millennium Trail, an outdoor basketball court, and the purchase of thirteen additional acres adjoining the main campus.  Fund-raising has been the key element in this growth phase, and will continue to be essential in securing future advancement.

The Art and Mary Jane Crooks Hall, our "green" oceanfront dining-room and student services centre, opened in 2010. This superb facility includes a dining hall, kitchen and servery, a student centre, an entrepreneurship centre, laundry services and the school store.  Naming opportunities are still available on furnishings within the dining hall. Honour a family member or graduate by naming a chair ($1,000 each), a table ($10,000 each) or by dedicating a tree on Campbell Common ($1,500). Contact Lara McDonald for details.

Magnificent lead gifts totalling $6.2 million enabled us to commence construction of a Centre for Art and Humantiies, and it will be open for student use in September 2012. We are asking for donations from our entire Brentwood community to help us close the funding gap for this $12.5 million project . 

Long-term goals following include:

• a field house for hosting teams, coaches and supporters of rugby, soccer and field hockey;
• a second gymnasium to accommodate our increasingly successful volleyball and basketball programmes.
