Cross Country Running
The cross country running progamme is open to boys and girls of all ages and running abilities. Its aim is to promote a life-long love of running and fitness. The programme is available in all three terms.
- All participants run long distances over a variety of terrain, aiming to complete 200km each term.
- Runs vary in distance from 6 to 10 kilometres.
- On Thursdays, the team travels to an 'away' venue such as Goldstream Park, Mount Tzouhalem, Thetis Lake, Elk Lake, or Holland Creek in Ladysmith.
- While cross country running is mainly non-competitive, there are racing opportunities for serious runners that include both road and trail races.
